Dental Implants
A dental implant is a titanium post (like a tooth root) that is surgically positioned into the jaw bone beneath the gum line that allows to mount replacement teeth or bridge into that area . There are two types of implants.
- Endosteal: These dental implants are placed in the jaw bone ,typically made of titanium made of titanium and shaped like a small screws ,they are the most commonly used type of implant.
- Subperisoteal: These implants are placed under the gum but on or above the jaw bone.
